Much as it pains me to say so we do occasionally take in some typewriters which are beyond repair. Generally speaking this means that the bodywork has been broken at some stage, meaning that while the mechanicals are still operational the machine is not suitable for refurbishment due to the amount of damage.
In these instances the machines are kept to be used for parts in the repair of other typewriters. Although some of these are used in house we are always happy to supply any parts required to other enthusiasts at very reasonable prices.
